Since 2015, the Board of Directors has hosted a yearly luncheon for business leaders and public officials. The first luncheon was keynoted by Ada County Highway District Commissioner Paul Woods who reflected on his first year as a Commissioner. In 2016, then-Lt. Governor Brad Little outlined his priorities for Idaho prosperity. In 2017, J.R. Simplot Co. President and CEO Bill Whitacre shared the importance of consolidating company operations in downtown Boise to enhance efficiency, company culture, and the Simplot brand.​
